NAACP Arlington Branch Concern Over “One Ranger, One Riot” Statue at Globe Life Field

The Arlington Branch of the NAACP issued a statement expressing deep disappointment regarding the continued display of the “One Ranger, One Riot” statue inside Globe Life Field and its connection to events associated with resistance to school desegregation in Mansfield. 

The branch encourages constructive dialogue with the Texas Rangers organization and community stakeholders regarding how public monuments reflect the values of a diverse and growing Arlington community.
